Building Self Esteem

Building Self Esteem

February 6, 2021 Webinar 0

A lot of us struggling with unwanted behaviours have been aware of negative self-talk and negative thought patterns. For a lot of us in recovery, transitioning to a God-centric lifestyle has involved behavioural changes, letting go of past sexual behaviours, developing a support network, building self-esteem and valuing our relationship with Allah (swt).

Furthermore, in terms of cognitive work, we have had to begin our inner-child healing, identified our thoughts, feelings and needs. We have had to build assertiveness, learn problem solving techniques, improve our communication and emotional maturity in relation to our own sex.

We are grateful to be joined by Zabair Hussain, who explores how unhealthy thinking styles and behaviours impacts in us realising our God-given self-esteem.
