Mentally Strong Parenting
We know that parenting in 2026 feels a bit like trying to navigate a map that is being redrawn in real-time. Between the constant hum of social media and the evolving conversations around gender and sexuality, many of us feel like we’re playing catch-up. It’s easy to lead with fear, but today, we’re here to learn how to lead with mental strength.
We are joined by esteemed Muslim counsellor Anisa Diab, an expert in building resilient family dynamics. Today isn’t about being ‘perfect’ parents; it’s about becoming ‘mentally strong’ ones. We’re going to move past the surface-level ‘how-to’s’ and dive into the heart of connection.
In this session, we will be tackling the big questions many of you have sent in, including:
The Digital Compass: How do we help our kids navigate the online ‘comparison trap’ and build self-worth that isn’t measured in likes?
The Identity Bridge: How can we be a ‘safe harbour’ for our children as they explore sexuality and gender, even when we feel uneducated or overwhelmed by the terminology?
Boundary vs. Bond: How do we set firm digital boundaries without triggering a total shutdown in communication?
The Parent’s Mindset: How do we manage our own triggers and anxieties so we can show up as the calm, grounded leaders our children need?
Our goal today is to give you a toolkit that trades ‘policing’ for ‘partnering.’ We want you to leave this hour feeling less like you’re bracing for an impact and more like you’re building a foundation.
